Driving Instructor

About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join DRIVE as qualified Driving Instructors. You will receive comprehensive training and, upon successful completion, a guaranteed position teaching learner drivers across the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver practical and theory driving lessons to learner drivers.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure all lessons are conducted safely and in line with DVSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of lesson hours and learner performance.
Required profile
- Full UK driving licence (or approved foreign licence) held for at least 3½ years.
- No driving bans in the last four years and no more than six penalty points.
- Fit and proper person as defined by the DVSA.
- Motivation to complete the three‑part instructor qualification (theory, practical, instructional ability).
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of UK road rules and driving techniques.
- Ability to teach and communicate clearly with learners of all ages.
- Good organisational skills for scheduling lessons and maintaining records.
