Driving Onsite Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Driving Onsite Manager to join a fast‑growing transport and logistics company operating across Hampshire and Sussex. The role is full‑time and permanent, centred on supporting drivers, ensuring compliance and delivering high‑quality training on site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct driver inductions and ensure all paperwork is accurate.
• Deliver clear daily briefings and maintain up‑to‑date training records.
• Visit multiple sites, support drivers on the ground and identify issues before they escalate.
• Handle routine queries from drivers and clients efficiently.
• Act as the primary on‑site point of contact for operational matters.
• Assist with recruitment events, open days and driver onboarding initiatives.
• Maintain key performance indicators, produce reports and manage routine administration.
• Support disciplinary processes, applying a fair and consistent approach.

Required profile

• Experience in transport, logistics or on‑site management, preferably with peak‑season exposure.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with drivers, clients and internal teams.
• Ability to stay calm while juggling multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of compliance standards and driver welfare.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport for frequent site visits.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools.
