Duty Manager – Hub Sleaford

About the role

The Duty Manager will be the operational leader of the Hub in Sleaford, overseeing the café, visitor experience team and cleaning staff. Reporting to the Centre Management Team, you will ensure a high‑quality experience for the 140,000+ annual visitors and support the Hub’s creative programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team of café staff, visitor assistants and cleaners.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring health, safety and cleanliness standards are met.
• Schedule staff rotas across a 7‑day roster, including evenings and weekends.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain visitor satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory, ordering and budgeting for the café and retail areas.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on visitor numbers, sales and operational performance.
