Duty Pharmacy Manager (Crediton)

About the role

As a Duty Pharmacy Manager at Tesco, you will play a vital part in delivering NHS and private pharmacy services to the local community. You will support pharmacists, provide health advice, and help improve the wellbeing of hundreds of customers each day.

Key responsibilities

• Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services.
• Provide healthcare advice to customers.
• Participate in the charity support programme, offering advice to people at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading, training, and developing pharmacy colleagues.
• Assist in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GP surgeries.
• Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS‑covered items.

Required profile

• Pharmacy degree.
• Passion for leading and empowering a team.
• Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (support provided).
• Completion of a DBS check (organised by the employer).
