E-commerce Operations Manager

About the role

The newly established UK subsidiary of a leading Japanese manufacturer is seeking an E‑commerce Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day online activities. You will manage Amazon and Shopify platforms, support the launch of the UK and European online business, and help shape a fast‑moving start‑up culture.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily e‑commerce operations across Amazon and Shopify.
• Maintain and optimise product listings, content, pricing and marketplace performance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth business processes.
• Identify and implement improvements to efficiency, customer experience and operational processes.
• Support the launch and ongoing growth of the UK and European online business.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the business develops.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience managing Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central and/or Shopify.
• Strong practical knowledge of e‑commerce operations.
• Experience launching or developing e‑commerce operations is highly advantageous.
• Background in a start‑up or newly established subsidiary is preferred.
• Business‑level English and proficiency in German and/or French.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently in a changing environment.

What we offer

• Permanent, full‑time role based in London (office location to be confirmed).
• Salary approximately £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
• Standard working hours Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑6:00 pm (subject to confirmation).
