E2E Solution Architect

About the role

The E2E Solution Architect will join Ericsson’s solution delivery team to lead design and implementation of large‑scale transformation programmes for Tier‑1 telecom operators in the UK. You will act as the main technical contact for both internal and external partners, ensuring end‑to‑end cloud and network solutions meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of deployed cloud solutions and lead multi‑domain virtual teams.
• Drive solution design, review design documents and provide guidance to solution engineers.
• Serve as the primary technical escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Test Managers on test definition, execution and reporting.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement of integration tasks.
• Mentor new team members and work closely with other Solution Architects on integration design.
• Lead investigations during deployment, identify risks and business opportunities, and act as the end‑to‑end presales technical lead.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (IT or Telecom) with 10‑12 years of system integration and testing experience.
• Expert knowledge of end‑to‑end telecom network architecture, cloud, IP networking, packet core, core networks and OSS applications.
• Proven expertise in designing 4G/5G solutions, capacity dimensioning and optimisation.
• Strong background in telecom solution integration, troubleshooting and automation/CI‑CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience with CNIS, 3PP CAAS, packet‑core voice, UDM applications and RFQ proposal preparation.
