About the role
Early‑Career Primary Teachers (ECT) are needed to start in September 2026 across primary schools in the Borough of Croydon. The role begins on a long‑term temporary basis with the possibility of a permanent contract after a successful 2‑3 term period.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons across various year groups.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Assess pupil progress and support all students to reach their full potential.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in a primary setting through placements.
- Passion for inspiring young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility to teach across different year groups.
