About the role

We are partnering with primary schools in Liverpool and surrounding areas to place newly qualified or soon‑to‑graduate teachers (ECTs) for short‑term and long‑term assignments. Whether you are looking for immediate classroom experience before the summer or a full‑time post starting September 2026, this role offers a pathway into the teaching profession.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the national curriculum to Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 pupils.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with school policies.
• Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing, providing differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with senior staff and mentors to reflect on practice.
• Participate in school-wide events, staff meetings and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or on track to achieve it in 2026.
• Passion for primary education and willingness to work in Liverpool‑area schools.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to the induction process and continuous improvement.
