About the role

Join a network of supportive primary schools across the Liverpool City Region as an Early Career Teacher (ECT). This role offers flexible supply, long‑term placements and the chance to secure a permanent position while you complete your induction or broaden your classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons for EYFS, KS1 or KS2 pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
• Collaborate with school staff to monitor and support pupil progress.
• Gain experience across multiple schools or settle into a long‑term placement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification.
• Early Career Teacher looking to complete induction or gain further experience.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
• Proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Two professional references and a valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
