Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary Schools in Liverpool

About the role

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join a network of primary schools across Merseyside. This flexible position allows you to choose the schools, hours and patterns that best suit your lifestyle while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum or follow provided schemes of work.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management, discipline and pupil rapport.
• Support the holistic development of young learners, focusing on mental and social wellbeing.
• Complete marking, produce thorough handover notes and communicate professionally with parents and staff.

Required profile

• 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children in the UK (including voluntary or placement work).
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexible, punctual and approachable attitude with a genuine passion for primary education.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
