Early Career Teacher – Flexible Primary School Placements

About the role

We are partnering with a range of supportive primary schools in Leeds and surrounding areas to place Early Career Teachers (ECTs) in engaging classroom environments. Whether you are looking for day‑to‑day supply work, short‑term placements, or a pathway to a longer‑term position, this role offers the chance to develop your teaching practice with guidance from experienced colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, curriculum‑aligned lessons for primary pupils.
• Create an inclusive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages learning.
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and celebrating achievements.
• Collaborate with senior teachers and mentors to refine teaching techniques.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completing teacher training this year.
• Passion for primary education and helping children reach their potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexible, positive attitude and resilience.
