Early Intervention Team Administrator

About the role
The Early Intervention Team Administrator provides essential administrative support to the CAMHS Early Intervention Service, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations for patients, carers and health professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Create and update patient electronic records and related documentation.
- Schedule appointments, notify patients of changes and manage call‑backs.
- Perform routine clerical tasks such as typing, photocopying, scanning, faxing and filing.
- Maintain up‑to‑date IT systems and ensure accurate recording of call information.
- Produce monthly throughput statistics for the team manager.
- Support the multidisciplinary team with data quality, audio typing and handling telephone or face‑to‑face enquiries.
- Provide cover and undertake any additional administrative duties as required.
Required profile
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, carers, GPs and other professionals.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow service level standards.
- Willingness to work flexibly and support the team during peak periods.
Required skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
- Data entry and record‑keeping accuracy.
- Basic competence in Microsoft Office applications.
