About the role
Little Dukes is seeking two enthusiastic Early Years Apprentices to join our vibrant nursery settings in London (SW17, SW18, SW11). This apprenticeship is ideal for candidates with experience in early years environments who wish to develop their professional skills while delivering high‑quality care and education to children aged 1‑3.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing care and educational activities for children aged 1‑3.
- Plan and deliver EYFS‑aligned activities that stimulate learning and development.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure best practice in safeguarding and child welfare.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a nursery, childcare, or early years setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Required skills
- First Aid certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of safeguarding regulations and childcare legislation.
