About the role
Reed Further Education is recruiting qualified Early Years professionals to work as lecturers across a range of Further Education, Sixth Form and training provider settings in the North West of England and Yorkshire. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching to learners studying Early Years, Childcare and related education qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across Early Years and Childcare programmes.
- Plan and prepare engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
- Assess, monitor and track learner progress.
- Support students in achieving their academic and career goals.
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality‑improvement activities.
- Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion within the learning environment.
Required profile
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent).
- Relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification at Level 3 or above.
- Experience teaching Early Years, Childcare or related subjects in Further Education, Sixth Form, training provider or secondary settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to learner success and educational excellence.
