Early Years Educator – Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join an Outstanding nursery in Cambridge. You will work within the EYFS framework to create a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and education in line with the EYFS standards.
• Plan and facilitate engaging learning activities that support children’s emotional, physical and social development.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers, communicating progress and wellbeing.
• Maintain safeguarding procedures and ensure a safe environment at all times.
• Collaborate with a supportive team of practitioners to share best practice.

Required profile

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised) – essential.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of EYFS curriculum planning.
• Ability to implement safeguarding policies.
