Early Years Educator

About the role

Academics is seeking qualified Early Years Educators to work across partnership nurseries and primary schools in Cheshire. This flexible position offers both full‑time and part‑time options, ideal for professionals looking for varied experience, a balanced lifestyle, or a return to work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging EYFS‑aligned lessons and activities alongside teachers and practitioners.
• Maintain high standards of care, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• Support early literacy, numeracy, communication and personal development.
• Promote independence, positive behaviour and social interaction.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• GCSE English and Maths Grade 4/C or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Previous experience in a UK nursery or primary school setting.
• Willingness to travel across East and West Cheshire and respond to short‑notice supply requests.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Paediatric First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.
