Early Years Educator – SEND Focus Reception (Full-time)

About the role
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Early Years Educator to join our Reception class in Greenwich. This full‑time, term‑time only role focuses on supporting children with special educational needs (SEND) and fostering inclusive, play‑based learning.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the class teacher and support team to create a nurturing learning environment.
- Plan and deliver targeted activities that develop communication, social, emotional and academic skills for SEND pupils.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support, adapting resources to individual needs.
- Contribute to observation, assessment and planning processes within a two‑form entry year group.
- Maintain a positive, collaborative classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience or strong interest in working with children who have additional needs.
- Understanding of play‑based learning and inclusive practice.
- Energetic, patient and enthusiastic approach.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Read, Write, Inc software.
