Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (Term‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our Bispham school for the Autumn term. This temporary, term‑time position supports the class teacher in delivering a creative, whole‑child curriculum for a new cohort of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering EYFS activities that align with our Whole Child approach.
• Model and uphold the school values of Ready, Respectful and Safe.
• Use communication‑friendly strategies to support speech and language development in line with ELKLAN status.
• Support outdoor learning sessions as part of the bespoke Beach School curriculum.
• Provide a nurturing, trauma‑informed environment to help children settle into school life.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 2 EYFS Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and able to work effectively with young children.
• Commitment to the school’s inclusive ethos and values.
