Early Years Practitioner – 4‑day week, £27.5k‑£30k

About the role
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our nursery in Teddington. You will work 40 hours a week with the option to compress your schedule into four days, giving you an extra day off each week. This role offers a supportive environment where you can develop your teaching practice while contributing to children’s early development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver our ‘learning through play’ ethos across daily activities.
- Design and implement innovative, age‑appropriate learning experiences.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Promote child welfare and adhere to all safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily routines.
Required profile
- NVQ/Cache Level 3 or equivalent (e.g., NNEB, Montessori Diploma, Early Years Degree, QTS).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about early childhood education.
