Early Years Practitioner – Blackpool

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Blackpool. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality care and education to young children, supporting their development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
• Observe, assess and track children’s progress.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Promote positive behaviour and social development.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed at all times.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, enthusiastic and reliable approach.
