Early Years Practitioner – Flexible Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join nursery settings in Blackburn. You will help children develop through play‑based learning while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time hours on an ongoing supply contract.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Promote learning through play and encourage children’s social, emotional and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming nursery environment.
• Monitor and record children’s progress and share observations with senior staff.
• Support safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early‑years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check and provide professional references.
• Legal right to work in the UK and willingness to attend a registration interview.
