Early Years Practitioner – Flexible Supply Role

About the role

We are recruiting qualified nursery practitioners to work on a flexible supply basis across a range of nurseries in Bristol. This role is ideal for enthusiastic early years professionals who want flexible hours while gaining experience in varied settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality care and learning in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s development through safe, engaging, play‑based activities.
• Adapt quickly to different nursery environments and routines.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment at all times.
• Work collaboratively with nursery teams to maintain high standards.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies.

Required profile

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
