Early Years Practitioner – Part‑time Temporary

About the role

Quint Education is seeking enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to support nursery teams across the Chertsey area. This temporary, part‑time position offers flexible shift patterns while providing a safe, clean and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to reception.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the nursery team in maintaining a safe, clean and happy setting for children.
• Engage with three key age groups, delivering age‑appropriate activities.
• Support mealtimes, including preparation and feeding of snacks.
• Report any incidents concerning child safety and wellbeing.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children aged 0‑4 years.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
• Clean, valid DBS check.
• Ability to work a few days a week and travel to local sites.
• Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding procedures.

• Hourly rate of £13.25‑£17 depending on qualifications and experience.
