Early Years Practitioner – Tower Hamlets

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly 60‑place nursery in Tower Hamlets. You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive and develop according to the EYFS framework.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, responsive care that supports children’s wellbeing and development.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate, engaging learning activities.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress in line with EYFS.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted compliance.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues.
• Help keep the classroom organised, inclusive and stimulating.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to foster a supportive professional culture.
• Accurately complete observations, reports and statutory documentation.

Required profile

• Level 3 childcare qualification (or higher).
• Experience working in an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Warm, caring and professional approach with children and families.
• Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality early years education.
