Early Years Teacher – Bristol Schools

About the role

We are seeking an Early Years Teacher to join schools across Bristol on a flexible, part‑time or full‑time basis. You will work within the classroom during school hours, delivering the early years curriculum and supporting pupils’ social and academic development.

Key responsibilities

• Use assessment data to implement strategies that raise pupil achievement.
• Manage HLTAs and/or LSAs in the classroom as required.
• Deliver age‑appropriate curriculum content across subjects.
• Encourage pupil participation in social and academic activities.
• Support behaviour management and promote social‑emotional development.
• Follow all school policies on behaviour, safeguarding and health & safety.

Required profile

• Experience of early years teaching in any capacity.
• Early years or education degree (or equivalent qualification).
• Availability to work between 08:30 and 15:30 on weekdays during term‑time.
• Flexibility to work part‑time, full‑time or on a day‑by‑day basis.

• No specific technical skills are required for this role.
