Early Years Teaching Assistant – 3 days/week

About the role

We are looking for a passionate early years Teaching Assistant to join a small primary school in Boughton, Chester. The role is part‑time, three days a week, supporting a busy early years setting for children aged 3‑5.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering the early years curriculum.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for approximately 16 pupils.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Prepare and organise learning resources and activities.
• Support pupils with personal, social and emotional development.

Required profile

• Early years training or relevant experience working with 3‑5 year olds.
• Commitment to a long‑term placement, Monday‑Wednesday 8:30 am‑3:30 pm.
• Proof of right to work in the UK (passport or birth certificate).
• Willingness to obtain a fully enhanced DBS check (cost reimbursed).
