About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Chadderton area of Oldham. You will work closely with the Early Years team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Early Years teacher in delivering daily lessons and activities.
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe learning space.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to help children develop academically and socially.
- Prepare and organise learning resources and materials.
- Collaborate with staff and parents to monitor and promote each child’s progress.
Required profile
- Demonstrated experience working in Early Years education.
- A caring, proactive attitude towards supporting young children.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
Required skills
- Effective communication with children and staff.
- Basic classroom organisation and resource preparation.
