Early Years Teaching Assistant – Flexible Ad Hoc Work

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to provide ad‑hoc support across a range of settings in Tunbridge Wells, including nurseries, primary and prep schools. The role offers flexible hours so you can choose when and where you work.

Key responsibilities

• Assist qualified teachers in delivering the Early Years curriculum.
• Support children’s learning and development in classroom and play settings.
• Help prepare resources, supervise activities and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group assistance as needed.

Required profile

• Early Years qualification Level 2 or Level 3 (essential).
• Experience working with children in the Early Years sector.
• Genuine passion for helping children learn and thrive.
• Qualified teachers are also welcome to apply.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Early Years teaching frameworks and statutory requirements.

• Minimum commitment of two days per week (8:00 am‑6:00 pm) or Monday‑Friday (8:30 am‑3:30 pm).
