About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive primary school in Finchley. This full‑time, long‑term position starts in September 2026 and offers the chance to support young learners in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support learning through play and structured activities.
• Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy.
• Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promote children’s social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure consistency across the setting.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (essential).
• Positive, team‑player attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
