Early Years Teaching Assistant – Full‑time, Blackpool

About the role
We are seeking a nurturing Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. The role starts in September and involves supporting children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a full‑time, 6.5‑hour daily basis.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher and the Early Years team in delivering engaging learning activities.
- Support pupils’ social, emotional and educational development.
- Help create a safe, positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Provide targeted support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and additional learning needs.
Required profile
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
- Previous experience in a school setting (desirable).
- Experience supporting children with SEN.
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic about early‑year education.

- Effective communication.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
