Early Years Teaching Assistant

About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants for ad‑hoc work across Sevenoaks, supporting children in nurseries, primary and prep schools. The role offers flexible hours and the chance to work in a variety of early‑years settings.
Key responsibilities
- Assist qualified teachers in delivering the Early Years curriculum.
- Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in classroom and play settings.
- Prepare and maintain learning resources and classroom environments.
- Help with daily routines, including meals, nap times and outdoor activities.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support as needed.
Required profile
- Early Years qualification Level 2 or Level 3 (essential).
- Relevant experience working with Early Years children.
- Genuine passion for helping children learn and thrive.
- Qualified teachers are also welcome to apply.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Early Years teaching practices and safeguarding procedures.
What we offer
- Flexible working patterns – choose year‑round or term‑time only.
- Minimum commitment of two days per week, with options for 8:00‑18:00 or 8:30‑15:30 schedules.
- Ability to take holidays at your convenience.
