Early Years Teaching Assistant (Part‑Time/Full‑Time)

About the role

Join a supportive early years environment where you will work alongside teachers to help children develop daily routines and learning activities. This flexible position offers both part‑time and full‑time options, starting in September.

Key responsibilities

• Support an early years child on a 1‑to‑1 basis and in small groups.
• Assist the teacher with managing daily classroom routines.
• Help deliver learning activities and modify challenging behaviour.
• Create a positive, engaging learning environment.
• Provide support to children with varying abilities.

Required profile

• Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant transferable experience (e.g., care).
• Proactive, supportive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Confidence working with children of different abilities.
• Patience and ability to follow teacher directions.
• Genuine passion for education and a flexible approach.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
