eBilling Assistant – 12‑month Fixed‑Term (Finance)

About the role

Join the Finance team at A&O Shearman in Belfast as an eBilling Assistant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support the global eBilling service, ensuring accurate and timely processing of electronic invoices across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities

• Upload eBills into the company eBilling portals and third‑party systems.
• Perform related administrative tasks to ensure successful bill submission.
• Obtain required authorisations before processing transactions.
• Proactively manage eBilling ledgers for specific offices.
• Enter data into the 3E finance system and maintain timekeeper records and rate uploads.
• Handle telephone and mailbox enquiries, providing general support and advice.
• File electronic documentation appropriately and assist with miscellaneous departmental duties.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Experience with eBilling systems or a finance/accounting qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and quick to learn.
• Strong team player who shares knowledge and accepts feedback.
• Excellent communication skills and professional approach to tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining established processes and systems.
