eBilling Assistant – Finance Team

About the role

Join the Finance team at A&O Shearman’s Belfast office as an eBilling Assistant. You will support a global eBilling service, ensuring timely and accurate processing of electronic invoices across multiple offices.

Key responsibilities

• Upload eBills into the company’s eBilling portals and third‑party systems.
• Perform all related administrative tasks to ensure successful bill submission.
• Obtain required authorisations before processing transactions.
• Proactively manage eBilling ledgers and maintain accurate records.
• Enter data into the 3E finance system and perform time‑keeper maintenance and rate uploads.
• Handle telephone and mailbox enquiries, providing support and advice.
• File documentation electronically and assist with miscellaneous departmental duties.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as needed.

Required profile

• Experience with eBilling systems or a finance/accounting qualification.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and multitask.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and quick to learn.
• Strong team player who shares knowledge and accepts feedback.
• Effective communicator who can interact confidently with colleagues.
• Commitment to maintaining established processes and systems.
