About the role

A leading environmental consultancy in Cambridge is looking for an Ecologist to join its growing team. You will work on a variety of projects delivering ecological surveys, assessments and reports that support sustainable development and biodiversity outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys for protected species and habitat evaluations.
• Prepare detailed ecological reports and compliance documentation.
• Advise clients on mitigation strategies and biodiversity‑focused design.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure project efficiency and sustainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ecological surveys and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning regulations.
• Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
