About the role

Join a growing environmental consultancy in Basingstoke as an Ecologist. You will work on a mix of field and office tasks, supporting development and infrastructure projects across the UK with technical ecological advice.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out ecological surveys and habitat assessments on site.
• Produce detailed reports and ecological impact assessments for planning applications.
• Provide technical advice to project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist in delivering practical environmental solutions and ensuring compliance with legislation.

Required profile

• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in an ecological consultancy or similar environment.
• Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and best practice.
• Strong written communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
• Residence within reasonable commuting distance of Basingstoke.
