E‑Commerce Sales & Planning Controller

About the role

We are looking for an E‑Commerce Sales & Planning Controller to lead sales budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across all online markets in the region. The role works closely with sales, merchandising, marketing and expansion teams to ensure plans align with commercial calendars and growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set weekly and daily sales forecasts for each market and feed them into P&L planning, formal budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor regional net sales performance, analyse gaps against plan and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyse sales, web and customer data to surface trends, commercial opportunities and threats, and advise on strategic actions.
• Partner with logistics to align warehouse capacity with sales plans, ensuring cost‑effective operations.
• Maintain data consistency across planning systems such as Anaplan and Synapps to support accurate forecasting.

Required profile

• Strong financial acumen with experience in sales equations, budgeting and forecasting for online retail.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret e‑commerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, returns, digital marketing) and translate them into commercial strategies.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop long‑term growth plans.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions including merchandising, marketing, logistics and e‑com operations.
• Clear communication skills for presenting financial data to senior stakeholders.
