E‑Commerce Sales & Planning Controller

About the role

Drive sales budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for all online markets in the region. Ensure accurate planning aligned with commercial calendars and business growth while collaborating closely with Sales, Merchandising, Marketing and Expansion teams.

Key responsibilities

• Sales & Financial Planning – set weekly and daily sales forecasts for each market and feed them into P&L planning and the formal budget process.
• Performance Monitoring – measure regional net sales against plan, identify growth opportunities and link insights from sales, web, customer and digital‑marketing data to commercial decisions.
• Reporting & Follow‑up – analyse sales, web and customer data to spot trends, opportunities and threats; propose commercial actions and evaluate their financial impact.
• Warehouse Planning – partner with logistics to maintain cost‑effective warehouse practices that maximise sales and profit.
• Data Management – ensure data consistency across systems such as Anaplan and Synapps to support planning accuracy.

Required profile

• Strong financial acumen with experience in sales forecasting, budgeting and online retail financial planning.
• Ability to analyse key e‑commerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV, returns, digital‑marketing) and translate data into actionable strategies.
• Strategic mindset for developing long‑term, profitable growth plans.
• Proven cross‑functional collaboration skills with merchandising, marketing and operations teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data to stakeholders.
