EDI Analyst – Retail Data Integration

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, customer‑focused EDI Analyst to join our Electronic Data Interchange team at Asda House. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop technical, analytical and stakeholder‑management skills in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage EDI queries via ServiceNow, email and Microsoft Teams, providing timely updates to suppliers and internal teams.
• Monitor EDI traffic, identify transaction failures and support maintenance of EDI mappings and trading‑partner setups.
• Act as first point of contact for suppliers, assisting with onboarding and troubleshooting EDI connections.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on failed transactions, invoice discrepancies and VIM exceptions, documenting findings.
• Produce routine operational reports, maintain query logs and ensure ticket updates.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a customer‑service mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers, finance teams and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site at least three days per week.
