EFL Teacher – General English & IELTS (London)

About the role

English Path is seeking a dynamic EFL Teacher to join its Stratford campus in London. You will deliver a range of English courses – from General English and IELTS preparation to Business, Finance and specialised ESP/EAP programmes – and help create an engaging, supportive learning environment for our international students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess lessons using a variety of teaching methods and classroom technology, tailored to course objectives.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and learner documentation.
• Arrive at least 15 minutes before the first lesson, participate in objective‑setting meetings and monthly CPD sessions.
• Contribute to team meetings, school decision‑making and collaborative projects.
• Develop, update and improve course materials as needed.
• Promote a safe, inclusive classroom, provide pastoral care and manage behaviour in line with safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• TEFLi qualification (CELTA or CertTESOL) with a minimum of three years teaching experience.
• Desirable: DELTA, Trinity DipTESOL or a relevant Master’s level qualification.

Required skills

• Ability to design structured yet creative lesson plans.
• Proficiency in integrating classroom technology for both face‑to‑face and online delivery.
• Excellent communication skills.
