EHS Manager – Health, Safety & Environment Lead

About the role

Join a leading international technical engineering and construction contractor as an EHS Manager. You will be responsible for driving health, safety and environmental performance on high‑value, complex industrial projects across the UK and occasionally abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage EHS strategies to ensure compliance with UK health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Conduct site inductions for operatives and subcontractors and maintain welfare facilities.
• Oversee COSHH compliance and hazardous substance control.
• Monitor project safety performance, report incidents and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with project teams to embed a strong safety culture throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working on UK construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
• Ability to travel and stay away from home for extended periods as project demands.
