About the role
1st Step Solutions is supporting a Tier 1 M&E contractor who is looking for an Electrical Supervisor/AP to join their team on a residential project in Liverpool. The position is advertised as a contract.
Key responsibilities
- Complete QA documentation including mark-ups, snag sheets and installation checklists, and compile it with sub-contractors' QA before issuing it to the main contractor for inspection.
- Ensure the close-out of client and consultant snags in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, inspections and testing activities.
- Prepare reports on MEP performance, issues and corrective actions.
- Maintain effective health and safety systems, including risk assessments, method statements and toolbox talks.
- Work on LV works.
Required profile
- City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Gold JIB card.
- SSSTS/SMSTS.
- Good literacy skills.
- Proactive thinking with an enthusiastic character, well organised and able to meet deadlines.
- Excellent people management skills.
