Electrical Assessor (Full Training Provided)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced electrician or electrical installation professional to become an Electrical Assessor. You will support apprentices through coaching, workplace visits and assessments, helping them achieve the skills and confidence required for a successful career.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Electrical Installation apprentices.
• Deliver coaching, workplace assessments and progress reviews.
• Support apprentices in developing knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to apprenticeship standards.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment (EPA).
• Combine on‑site visits with home‑based administrative work.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Strong hands‑on experience in electrical installations.
• Previous mentoring, teaching or assessing experience desirable.
• Assessor/IQA qualification advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally.
