Electrical Engineer (BESS Systems/Substations)

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with experience in Substations, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) or Power Systems to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing company that designs and builds e‑house substations and electrical pumping systems. The role offers a clear progression path towards Project Management, in‑house technical training and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver projects from initiation through to closure, acting as the electrical point of contact.
• Develop project plans, define technical requirements and ensure compliance.
• Oversee design and installation of predominantly e‑house substations and occasional electrical pumping system projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones and quality standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience with Substations, BESS Systems or Power Systems.
• Aspiration to move into a Project Management role.
