Electrical Engineering Team Lead

About the role

This is a fantastic role for an open and approachable Team Leader who is passionate about developing and supporting their people. You will lead a team delivering telecommunications and navigation satellites for commercial, government and military customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10‑15 Electrical Engineers, RF Test Systems Engineers and Test Operations Support Engineers delivering telecommunications and navigation satellites.
• Provide a stable production environment, ensure product integrity, safety compliance and on‑time delivery (OTOC OQ).
• Review and optimise clean‑room and production processes, contribute to a major facilities upgrade.
• Manage, allocate and maintain payload test assets, including calibration and long‑term planning across multiple projects.

Required profile

• Proven Electrical Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment producing low‑volume, highly complex products.
• Team‑lead experience in a similar setting, with a focus on people development and delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to balance quality, time and cost principles.
