About the role
This position is for an Electrical Field Service Engineer who will receive bespoke training from a Swiss manufacturer of high‑end capital equipment. You will be based at home covering the UK, with occasional overnight trips to client sites.
Key responsibilities
- Repair, service, install and commission bespoke industrial machinery.
- Provide on‑site technical support to customers across the Midlands and South UK.
- Undertake further technical training through external courses and in‑house shadowing.
- Progress to an Application Specialist role after gaining expertise.
Required profile
- Background in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in a service or maintenance engineering role.
Required skills
- Electrical engineering knowledge.
- Ability to perform repair, installation and commissioning of industrial equipment.
What we offer
- Salary £38,000‑£45,000 per year.
- Door‑to‑door overtime at 1.5× rate, uncapped.
- Company estate car or van.
- 33 days holiday, life insurance and performance bonus (2‑5%).
