Electrical & Fire Security Trainer – Full Training Provided

About the role

Join a respected college as an Electrical and Fire & Security Trainer, helping apprentices and adult learners develop the technical expertise required in the industry. Full teacher training and career development support are provided to ease your transition from the field to the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and classroom‑based teaching across Electrical Installation and Fire & Security programmes.
• Teach apprentices and adult learners within workshop and simulated industry environments.
• Carry out learner assessments, progress reviews and provide ongoing mentoring.

Required profile

• Level 3 NVQ/Diploma (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
• Strong industry experience within Electrical Installation, Building Services or a related sector.
• Knowledge or experience of Fire Alarm and/or Electronic Security Systems.
• Passionate about developing others and keen to move into teaching.
• Teaching qualification desirable but not essential (full training provided).
