Electrical Installations Trainer & Assessor (Full Training Provided)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced electrician to join a specialist training provider as an Electrical Installations Trainer and Assessor. You will move away from site work to deliver practical and classroom‑based training, mentoring apprentices through their qualifications while expanding your own expertise in renewable technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver hands‑on workshop sessions and classroom instruction on electrical installation and building services.
• Coach, mentor and assess apprentices throughout their learning journey.
• Provide technical support and feedback to help learners develop confidence and industry‑ready skills.
• Teach short specialist courses covering emerging technologies such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, and EV Charging.
• Maintain accurate assessment records and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with solid experience in electrical installation.
• Desire to transition into a stable, Monday‑to‑Friday teaching role.
• Willingness to undertake full teacher and assessor training.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in renewable technologies.

• Competitive salary £38,000‑£41,500 per year.
