Electrical Maintenance Electrician – Field Based Role

About the role

We are recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Electrician to join a well‑established electrical services organisation. The role is field‑based, covering residential, public sector and commercial properties across North London and surrounding areas, with a standard Monday‑to‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical servicing, repairs and maintenance across a diverse portfolio of occupied and non‑occupied properties.
• Install, upgrade and replace lighting systems, distribution boards, switches and sockets.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency lighting systems and associated safety equipment.
• Support electrical elements of ventilation and fire detection systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Record work details, materials used and outcomes via a mobile workforce management system.
• Liaise professionally with tenants, site contacts and internal teams.

Required profile

• Practical experience in electrical maintenance and repair environments.
• Knowledge of domestic and commercial electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Commitment to health, safety and current electrical regulations.

What we offer
