About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a historic aluminium smelter located at the foot of Ben Nevis. The position offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and full relocation support to the Scottish Highlands.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems across the smelter, including transformers, switchgear and protection relays.
- Service motors, variable speed drives (VSDs) and substations to ensure reliable plant operation.
- Support plant breakdowns, scheduled shutdowns and continuous improvement projects.
- Contribute to electrical safety initiatives and asset reliability programmes.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience working in an industrial or heavy‑industry environment.
- Willingness to relocate to the Scottish Highlands.
